Gary & Kerry's Wedding Day
Waterloo Register Office, Crosby Town Hall was the venue for this spring wedding with the reception just a few yards down the road at The Victoria in Bath Street.
A very traditional styled wedding in a beautiful venue. The interior decor was very impressive & added something quite special & unique to Gary & Kerry's wedding day photographs.
My instructions were to photograph the day's events as naturally as possible, no fuss, they wanted a true representation of their special day. I was instructed to deliver the final images in both colour & black & white, the ceremony venue definitely made my job easier when it came to choosing the black & white images. A very traditional style building, inside & out, the whole vibe of the place screamed timeless & traditional to me.
The curved layout of the room was easy to work with from a photographer's point of view, flowing images of the bride making her entrance accompanied by her two young children, walking around the outside of the room behind a wooden screen before making her way across the room to the centre where Gary was patiently waiting.
We were battling against the elements, rain was on and off, ducking and diving between showers at times to get some outdoor photographs before I joined the newly weds in the Rolls Royce for a short drive down the road to the reception at The Victoria. The reception was a very relaxed affair, firstly meeting with all the guests in the bar area before moving outside to the rear garden for photographs, a couple of speeches and a few drinks. Below are some selected images from the day's events.
