Rob & Colette's Wedding Day At Meols Hall, Southport
A blustery, wet day in December did not dampen the mood or atmosphere at this beautiful wedding venue in Southport. My job was to capture events as they unfolded from arrivals through to the wedding breakfast. On this occasion I was ably assisted by Chloe, it was her first experience of wedding photography, she was amazing, a real eye for detail & the guests spoke very highly of her.
This beautiful 400 year old building was the venue for the ceremony & later, the wedding breakfast. Being a December wedding, there was a hint of Christmas on show in the form of a stunning Christmas tree & music for the ceremony was provided by a harpist.
The Coach House & Courtyard
The Coach House was used for guests arriving & later for the receiving line. The doors were open leading to the courtyard helping to provide some beautiful, natural light.
The Games Room
Meols Hall management were kind enough to grant us permission to use the games room at the opposite end of the courtyard. Leading through to the room, the hall floor was covered in stunning black & white tiles & mixed with the large sash windows allowing lots of natural light to pour in, the scene was perfect for some timeless black & white photography.
