I'll Handle The Photographs

If the thought of being photographed all day sounds uncomfortable, you are exactly the kind of couple I work with.

My job is not to turn your wedding into a photoshoot.

My job is to help you feel comfortable, keep things relaxed and capture real moments without awkward posing or forced interactions.

You enjoy the day.

I’ll handle the photos.

It's Your Wedding Day

Just Enjoy It!

Authentic Wedding Photography, As It Should Be.

Most couples book me because they want photographs that feel like them — not a Pinterest recreation of somebody else’s wedding.

No forced moments.

No fake laughter.

No disappearing for two hours while your guests wonder where you’ve gone.

You get to spend your wedding day actually being present in it.

I’ll step in when needed, keep things moving when they need moving, disappear when the moments matter, and quietly document everything from the big emotional stuff to the ridiculous little in-between moments you didn’t even notice happening.

The end result?

A wedding gallery that feels honest, personal and real — not a staged performance created for Instagram.

Because in 20 years, nobody cares whether your photographer called themselves “luxury” or “award-winning”.

Real Words From Real Couples

Real Words From Real Couples

“We used Michael for our wedding a few weeks ago and he was absolutely incredible.
He was so funny and made us feel so at ease and calm. Was brilliant with the kids and navigating the big group photos.
Highly recommend! Thanks Mick”

FAQ

Do you pose couples?

No awkward posing. I focus on natural, relaxed moments.

What if we’re awkward in photos?

Most couples say this—and it’s completely normal. My approach keeps things relaxed so nothing feels forced.

What if it rains?

We adapt. You don't need to worry about the weather, just enjoy your day and leave the photography to me.

How long does it take to receive photos?

4–6 weeks for your full gallery.

Do we need full-day coverage?

Not at all. Many couples choose half-day or ceremony coverage depending on their plans. It’s about what fits your day, not a fixed package.

How long do group photos take?

Usually between 15–30 minutes depending on the number of groups.

Do you travel outside Cheshire?

Yes—while I’m based in Cheshire, I cover weddings across the UK.

Still wondering if this is right for you?

If you:

  • Hate being in front of the camera

What to Expect from Full-Day Coverage

Weekend Weddings - £1100

Weekday Weddings ( Mon - Fri ) - £900

A typical full-day booking begins around three hours before your ceremony, capturing the natural, behind-the-scenes moments as everything comes together during prep. From there, I cover arrivals at the ceremony, the ceremony itself, and everything immediately after—including confetti, group photos, and relaxed couple portraits. Timings here can vary depending on your plans, but group photos usually take around 15–30 minutes, with couple portraits taking roughly 20–30 minutes.

Throughout the day, I focus on candid photography—documenting real moments as they unfold, including your entrance into the wedding breakfast and speeches (I’ll step away briefly while guests are eating). As the day moves into the evening, coverage continues through the reception, cake cutting, first dance, and a few dance floor moments to capture the energy once the party gets going. Woven naturally throughout the day, there’s always room to capture the extras that matter to you—whether that’s specific groupings, important guests, entertainment, or all those carefully chosen details. If you have any special requests or moments you want documented, I’ll make sure they’re thoughtfully worked into the flow without disrupting the day.

What about Half Day Coverage?

Weekend Weddings - £700

Weekday Weddings ( Mon - Fri ) - £600

Half-day coverage includes up to five hours of photography, making it an ideal choice for twilight weddings or shorter celebrations. Coverage typically begins with guest arrivals and the ceremony, followed by confetti, relaxed group photos, and natural couple portraits—giving you a balance of key moments and genuine, in-between interactions.

From there, I continue capturing candid moments as the day flows into the afternoon, documenting the atmosphere, celebrations, and if it's a twilight wedding I move on to highlights like the first dance and time on the dance floor. It’s a flexible option designed to focus on what matters most to you, without committing to full-day coverage.

For example, if you’re planning a later ceremony around 3–4pm, this option is a perfect fit.

Don't forget the Ceremony Option

Weekend Weddings - £400

Weekday Weddings ( Mon - Fri ) - £350

The ceremony option offers around two hours of uninterrupted photography, covering everything from guest arrivals through to the ceremony itself. It also includes those key moments straight afterwards—confetti, relaxed group photos, and natural couple portraits—so you still have a well-rounded set of images without needing longer coverage.

This option is ideal for smaller, more intimate weddings where the focus is on the ceremony itself and the moments immediately around it. It works particularly well for registry office weddings, elopements, or relaxed celebrations where you don’t need full-day coverage but still want the key moments captured beautifully.

What if I haven't photographed a wedding at your venue before?

Honestly, it’s not something that matters as much as people think.

Every wedding is completely different, even at the same venue. The light changes, the layout gets tweaked, the weather does its own thing, and most importantly… the people are different. That’s what actually shapes the photographs.

What does matter is experience — knowing how to read a scene quickly, handle any lighting situation, and anticipate moments as they happen. That’s how you get natural, genuine images without stopping the day or turning it into a photoshoot.

I always arrive with fresh eyes, which means I’m looking for the best light, the best angles, and the moments that are actually happening — not just repeating a checklist from the last time I was there.

If it helps, I’m more than happy to visit the venue beforehand or arrive early on the day to get a feel for everything. But after photographing plenty of weddings in all kinds of places, adapting quickly is just part of the job.

So whether I’ve shot there ten times or it’s my first visit, you’ll get the same thing: relaxed, natural coverage and photos that feel like your day — not a copy of someone else’s.

Add A Pre-Wedding Shoot To Your Booking

£150

Make the most of your wedding photography experience with a pre-wedding photography session.

This isn’t just “extra photos.” It’s where everything clicks.

You’ll get comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding, so nothing feels forced or awkward on the day. No stiff posing. No second-guessing what to do with your hands. Just a relaxed, natural experience that carries straight through to your wedding photos.

It’s also a chance for us to properly connect. You’ll see exactly how I work, how little I interrupt things, and how easily real moments unfold when you’re not being directed every second.

The result? You show up on your wedding day already confident, already relaxed — and your photos reflect it.

Plus, you’ll come away with a set of beautiful images you can actually use:

Save the dates, your wedding website, or even printed pieces for the day itself.

Think of it as the warm-up that makes everything better.
